KIMT Wins Top Honor for Half-Hour Special
[Los Angeles, CA – April 23, 2010] – New Vision Television is proud to announce that the KIMT sports department has earned a prestigious regional honor.

Jeff Zell and A.J. Ellingson’s 2009 Pigskin Preview has won a first-place Eric Sevareid Award from the Northwest Broadcast News Association (NBNA).

The sports department compiled many hours of interviews and footage to produce the half-hour high school football preview show that highlighted many of the teams in North Iowa and Southern Minnesota.

The small market honor is the second in the last three years for the KIMT sports staff. The department previously won an Eric Sevareid Merit Award in 2007.

The NBNA includes television stations in Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota and Wisconsin.
